I specialize in software development with a focus on ETL systems, large data applications, and backend engineering.
In my current position, I am actively migrating an outdated J2EE monolith application into a mircroservice structure to better serve our diverse user base and help them gain financial wellness through budgeting and improved money management. These microservices are being built using SpringBoot, Hibernate, and 12 factor methodology.
Previously I developed a data warehouse, ETL system, and a series of person matching algorithms for federal agencies aiding law enforcement agencies and criminal investigations. I have also worked to build powerful marketing and customer loyalty solutions for a variety of companies providing software platforms to enhance their marketing and rewards strategies.
A fast and focused worker, I enjoy a good challenge both in my work and personal life.
When not developing software you can find me logging double-digit miles on an afternoon run.
